From October 23d to 25th, the Sirius University of Science and Technology hosted the II International agricultural congress ASIAEXPO-2024, a unique international platform that brings together specialists to discuss and develop the agro-industrial complex (AIC) in the context of the integration of the markets of Asia, Africa, the Middle East and the CIS countries.

On October 24, as part of the congress, the Forum “Pig Breeding: Genetics, Veterinary Science and Feeding” was held, at which Andrey Pavlov, Director of Genetic Sales and Technical Support, gave a presentation. In his presentation, “Genetic methods for improving indicators affecting economic efficiency,” he highlighted the key factors that determine the success of pig farms: the yield of commercial products in kilograms per m2 of fattening and the net cost of a kilogram of product.

The forum was a platform for the exchange of experiences and opinions among representatives of the Russian genetics market.
